Science Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Science teacher to work in a partnership school in Goole, starting April 22nd 2025 and lasting until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position covering a vacant role, with a chance to become permanent if the candidate enjoys the position. Full planning and marking will be expected for this role, and payment will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale, from M1 - M6, equivalent to £162.31 to £223.62 per day.
This role will involve teaching Science to Key Stage 3 students only. There is a large bank of resources available, meaning planning requirements should be minimal. Candidates should expect to amend existing resources to fit the needs of the learners in the class.
The school is part of a large national academy trust that values their staff, whether permanent or temporary. The school is located in Goole and is best accessed by candidates who drive, with an onsite car park available. There are also good train links from Hull and York.

1. Have experience working within schools in the UK.
2. Have experience supporting within UK schools.
3. Have experience teaching Science to Key Stage 3 students.
4. Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.

6. Legal right to work in the UK.
