Job Title: Senior Quality Control Administrator
Location: Trafford Distribution Centre, Trafford Park
To manage the day-to-day operational activities within the QC department. Working closely with all the DC operations teams and 3PL to offer a world-class level of service and support relating to all Quality Control and Returns issues. To ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained in all adidas products and to claim for all faulty products against the factory and receive compensation from Global Claims Management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and prioritise the day-to-day operation of all QC areas.
2. Provide the relevant information to the business for KPI Reporting.
3. Plan and control the rectification process.
4. Capture all Rectification Costs, which have been agreed with 3PL/global or procurement. Ensure that cost centres are identified on all paperwork to ensure invoices are paid on time. Enter claims once Quality issues have been identified and monitor progress.
5. Ensure senior management is kept informed of any outstanding claims on a monthly basis.
6. Ensure confidential products are disposed of once claims have been settled.
7. Understand the process/procedure of the global claims department. Know points of contact and who to escalate issues to if required.
8. Ensure Quality procedures are followed and that all Launch/Critical Products are inspected in line with the Sample Plans provided. Ensure master updates for launches and critical products are carried out and maintained, discuss any changes with the QC team.
9. Ensure availability is not affected and launch deadlines are met.
10. Rectify any warehouse/container damages while keeping costs to a minimum. Work closely with intake planners to ensure claim data is accurate. Escalate/report changes to the supply chain manager.
11. Ensure the team is following Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) procedures and that data sheets are up to date and maintained.
12. Sealing Samples - Work closely with 3PL and merchandising to ensure all UK embellishments and samples are executed correctly to the highest quality standard, signed off once approved and delivered on time to meet club launch dates.
13. Develop relationships/partnerships with key account customers and satisfy key customer's quality demands.
14. Support UK e-commerce with all product queries and advise on next steps regarding product claims. Carry out and maintain the returns to scrap process.
15. Continue to carry out training and development for the rest of the QC Admin team and ensure the team is working with updated policies and guidance.
16. Arrange additional training/refresher courses in adicomp claims as part of development for Returns operatives.
17. Continue to develop and streamline new processes and procedures and implement them across the department.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant experience within a Supply Chain role.
Good knowledge of QC procedures and testing regimes.
Ability to understand, focus on and resolve day-to-day issues within the agreed parameters.
IT literacy (Excel/warehouse systems).
Good communicator at all levels.
Intermediate presentation skills for customer/team presentations.
Performance management experience.
