Role: Production Lead – EV Battery Solutions (UK Site) As the Production Lead, you will oversee all aspects of our production operation, ensuring smooth processes, high-quality output, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with our engineering, logistics, and health & safety teams to deliver top-notch solutions to clients while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage production operations for EV battery repair, remanufacturing, refurbishing, and repurposing. Work collaboratively with engineering on diagnostics, testing, and root cause analysis for EV battery issues. Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with all Cox Automotive and EVBS policies and standards. Manage the production team, overseeing work schedules, training, and problem-solving. Liaise with logistics to ensure timely shipping of completed projects and accurate record-keeping for invoicing. Provide accurate reporting for KPI tracking and attend management and customer meetings to update on project progress. What You’ll Bring: Experience in production leadership with a focus on automotive or EV batteries ideally but will consider other suitable battery backgrounds. Knowledge of health & safety regulations, production processes, and the tools needed for EV battery repair. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data using tools like Microsoft Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving, team leadership, and continuous improvement. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
