Role Details: Start Date: Immediate or January 2025 Contract Type: Part-time or full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience (equivalent to MPS/UPS London Fringe) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Location: Set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, easily accessible by car About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant/LSA, you will: Provide tailored support to students, including focused 1:1 assistance for Years 3 and 4 in this independent school. Work across up to six lessons per day, supporting the KS2 education of bright and engaged learners in an academically focussed environment. Assist students in Years 3 and 4, helping them grow in confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with highly skilled teachers to deliver creative and impactful lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum. Focus entirely on teaching and learning, as there are no behaviour management issues to contend with in this well-disciplined and supportive community. What We're Looking For: A caring, motivated, and adaptable individual passionate about working with children. Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with KS2 learners. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferable but not essential. Experience in an educational setting is a bonus-enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key A team player with strong organizational skills and a dedication to student success.
