As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration. You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You’re a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:
* Work on a varied caseload using different equipment and facilities, which are all state-of-the-art
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff
* Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, evidence-based and appropriate
* Work within all three different parts in theatre
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will have:
* High levels of focus and engagement
* A passion for high standards and a meticulous eye for detail
* Qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC
* Post-registration experience
* Excellent communication skills and will be a great team worker
* You will also be flexible and motivated
* Able to carry out two of the four roles in theatres
* SFA or SCP qualified
Key information about the role:
This role will allow you to work within all the three different parts in theatre which are Recovery, Theatre and Anaesthetics.
