The Radiography Services Lead will work as part of the Clinical Imaging management team to provide clinical management to modalities across the Specialty.
The Clinical Imaging Specialty has a budget in excess of £29,000,000 and a workforce of circa 380 WTE who run Imaging services at sites from the Isles of Scilly to the Cornwall and Devon boarder.
As a Lead, you will be accountable for the efficient and effective clinical and operational management of the Radiography and Nursing workforce within the Specialty, guaranteeing provision of high-quality evidence-based Imaging practice which will be delivered within an acute hospitals, community and outreach setting.
You will be a strong clinical leader, easily identifiable, highly visible and accessible to patients, carers and staff. Alongside clinical and operational responsibilities, you will support the developments of clinical governance and service improvement to modernise patient services and ensure the active evolvement of patients and carers in the way services are developed, delivered and evaluated.
Leading by example, you will drive up standards of clinical care and have the authority to get the essential components of care right for patients- clean treatment areas and departments, quality care, ensuring patients are treated with dignity and respect, resolving problems for patients and relatives and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the services.
