Panel Beater Role and Responsibilities: Carry out high-quality panel repairs and replacements to vehicles following manufacturer methods and standards. Complete work in a safe and timely manner to meet deadlines. Use specialist body repair equipment including welding tools, body alignment jigs, and measuring equipment. Ensure all vehicles are repaired to pre-accident condition with a focus on first-time quality. Work closely with Workshop Controllers, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and other colleagues to deliver outstanding service. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all workshop health and safety regulations. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician within an Accident Repair Centre or Bodyshop – essential. Strong skills in welding, panel repair, panel replacement, and body alignment. ATA accreditation (Senior Panel Technician or similar) would be highly desirable but is not essential – full support will be provided to achieve accreditation if required. Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality repairs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK Driving Licence – essential. Stable career history within the automotive repair sector preferred. Benefits: £40,000 to £65,000 per year depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
