About our Client
My client is a fantastic construction company who works on both new build & refurbishment projects. They work on projects up to 30million in value. They have an excellent reputation within this sector and are actively looking for an expereinced Project Manager to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
* To manage site staff safely, efficiently and proactively including all labour recruitment as necessary to ensure completion of projects within programme and within allocated budget.
* To ensure correct implementation of procedures and codes of practice to ensure client satisfaction and successful completion.
* To ensure correct interpretation of client and installation by operatives in line with drawings issued/approved.
* To encourage increased company growth via repeat business and developing relationships with clients.
* To maintain and develop best value practices for the company and actively encourage others to increase company profitability and reduce waste.
* To ensure material orders are in place to suit operatives needs and delivery allocations maximise productivity on sites.
* To successfully bring projects to a financial close, including site variations in association with accounts and surveying depts.
* To ensure daily Health and Safety management / Quality control of every project within your portfolio is maintained including all RAMS, Safety audits, Client safety reports, PPE etc.
* To prepare valuations in association with our Quantity surveyor for interim application for payment including variations.
* To prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts and contra charges in association with our commercial team for sign off
* To Ensure any variations / exclusions from contract are captured and preparing prices for contract variations in association with the commercial team.
* To monitor costs to ensure budgets are met in association with the Administration team and accounts department.
