In this non-case holding role, we are looking for an experienced and registered children’s social worker who can support and mentor our learners within our Workforce Development Team. Ideally, you will have worked in this role as a Practice Development Officer previously and developed and led a newly qualified social worker programme (ASYE). You will be a Practice Educator, developing and delivering clear and robust learner programmes to support the Continuous Professional Development of all our social care workforce through bespoke programmes, including ASYE, Apprenticeships, and Step-ups. You will be confident in designing and delivering comprehensive high-quality training sessions, applying your wealth of knowledge of children’s legislation, case management, policies, frameworks, and procedures. You will have extensive experience in supervising and/or mentoring social care workforce members, as well as supporting our Practice Educators. You will advocate for promoting good practice across the organisation, undertaking audits, and supporting our Quality Assurance Service.
Expectation to work on-site depends on diary arrangements, but at least 3 times per week, so you will need to live locally within the Liverpool area.
