We are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us on a full-time basis.

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented individual with a keen eye for detail, as an Accounts Assistant you will:
1. Assist in processing sales and purchase invoices
2. Process bank payments
3. Standard journal entries
4. Potentially some accounts payable
About You
To be considered as an Accounts Assistant, you will need to demonstrate:
1. Basic knowledge of accounting procedures such as bookkeeping and other general financial procedures
2. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
3. Proven experience in a related role or other relevant position
4. Knowledge of computer programs used in daily office administration functions such as Word, Excel, SAGE/QuickBooks and specialised office management tools
5. Proficiency in filing and paper management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information
6. Ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and an aptitude for helping other people
Other organisations may refer to this role as Accounts Coordinator, Accounts Administrator.
