Using your substantial analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, you will transform raw data into actionable insights that drive real change and meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the technical approach to business insights reporting through the development of databases and reusable data assets.
2. Oversee and develop existing business insight reports.
3. Develop innovative analyses, reports, dashboards, and insights using various reporting and analytical tools.
4. Perform data extractions for regulatory returns and deliver accurate data externally as required.
5. Conduct quantitative data analysis using statistical techniques and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
6. Address ad-hoc reporting needs promptly and efficiently.
7. Maintain a strong understanding of key business software functionality.
8. Train colleagues on how to best utilize dashboards and reports created in the team.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for passionate individuals with the technical expertise to deliver high-quality data insights and a desire to make a positive difference. Candidates should have:
1. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and DAX.
2. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake or DataBricks.
3. Expertise in using T-SQL to interrogate and extract data.
4. A comprehensive understanding of databases, query optimisation, and the Microsoft BI Stack.
5. Technical expertise in data mining, data auditing, and segmentation.
6. Experience building reusable data models.
7. Experience in handling and cleaning raw data.
8. Exceptional analytical skills using techniques such as linear regression.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. A focused and tenacious attitude combined with a methodical approach to problem solving.
11. Experience in social housing or familiarity with the regulatory landscape is advantageous but not essential.
