North Star Academy Trust is a small multi-academy trust that was set up with the ambition to improve the SEND provision in the South West and provide as many young people as possible with a bespoke, specialist education that is tailored to each individual's needs. North Star 180° based in Bath, is an all through school that caters for pupils with SEMH needs. Pupils who have difficulties with their emotional and social development may have limited social skills and find it difficult to make and sustain healthy relationships. We are seeking to recruit a personable, reliable, enthusiastic and efficient Administrator to be responsible for our busy school reception office. You will be required to work 37 hours per week, the role is term time only, including inset days with one extra week to be worked in the Summer holidays in order to prepare for the new academic year (40 weeks). Your main place of work will be at North Star 180°, but you may be required to work at other locations within the Trust. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the smooth running of our school, with responsibility for ensuring that pupils, staff, parents / carers, visitors and all persons who come into contact with the school are dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner. You will be expected to provide a high standard of customer service and a well organised and welcoming office environment. Ideally you will have some school experience in a similar role or are able to demonstrate the capability to learn quickly and apply existing skills to this unique role. The post holder is expected to display calmness and professionalism at all times.
