We are looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence who is committed to delivering high-quality service around the South Island. This role is the Operations Manager (South Island) to oversee our South Island operations within the cleaning industry, playing a crucial role in our mission to provide exceptional commercial cleaning services. We are experts in Commercial Cleaning, for private and public organisations from owner-operated franchises across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Franchise Contracts: Oversee the onboarding of new contracts, ensuring clear communication of service expectations. You will manage contract documentation and compliance, facilitating smooth transitions during handovers and upgrades.
* Resolve Operational Issues: Act as the primary contact for operational challenges, working closely with franchisees and clients to address service concerns promptly. Your investigative skills will help maintain high client satisfaction levels.
* Lead Training Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive training for franchisees and their teams, ensuring adherence to Paramount Services' operational standards. Regular updates to training materials will keep our practices aligned with the industry's best standards.
* Conduct Franchise Audits: Execute regular audits of franchisee performance to assess service quality and compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide constructive feedback and action plans for improvement.
* Process Management and Reporting: Utilise our business management system to track tasks, audits, and issue resolutions, providing regular reports on contract performance and training outcomes to senior management.
* Health and Safety: Ensure that all staff and franchisees adhere to our health and safety policies to make sure everyone is safe when on site.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Experience: The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the cleaning industry, both commercial and residential, with a strong background in leadership roles managing multiple sites.
* Skills: Strong financial management and client relationship skills, with a focus on customer service and quality outcomes. Flexibility to travel across the South Island, including overnight stays and weekend work as required.
* Work Environment: While there is an office space available in Addington, this role is primarily a work-from-home position, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
* Need a current and clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.
* Ability to conduct training and coach people effectively, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
