Understand the products within the relevant funds.
Coordinate and produce daily, weekly, or monthly NAVs by reconciling internal fund valuations with external administrators.
Adhere to the Pricing and Valuation Policy; investigate and resolve valuation issues, significant price fluctuations, cash breaks, and trade capture issues.
Respond to ad-hoc queries from administrators.
Obtain internal sign-off of portfolio valuations and returns from the portfolio management team daily.
Ensure management and performance fees are accurately calculated and charged to the funds timely.
Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
Liaise with external auditors as required.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting from Fund Accounting to internal and external recipients.
Provide accurate fund-related information and reporting to Corporate and FP&A Teams for accounting and Senior Management reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience in fund accounting, valuation, or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Experience with various financial products and instruments.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fund valuation.
