About the company With a turnover of 50M the company are leading name within civil engineering in Hampshire and the South East of England. With 3 regional offices based in South Wales, Hampshire and Kent the company keep on growing and keep on winning large multi-million pound contracts. The contracts that they’ve been involved with in the past have been projects such as North Portsea Island CFERM phase 3, Tipner Lake (£12M). They have also been involved in the Rampion Quayside works (£2.2M) The company’s specialist sectors range from airports, buildings, coasts, rivers & ports, defence, energy, waste, water and highway & rail infrastructure projects. About the role Due the company expanding and winning lots of infrastructure projects all over the UK they are now looking for a Site Agent to join the team working on energy projects. Types of projects will include onshore wind farms, battery storage sites and transmission substations. You will be reporting into the project manager and will be working on their major projects for clients such as Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall and the National Grid. They have also won an EV charging station contract worth £10M per year and this a growing side of their business. The works is all around multi utility installations involving gas, water and electricity and all associated civils including rising mains, sewage, deep excavations and pumping stations. Wastewater diversions will also be a key project during your time there and they have an order book of £15M going into 2025. This role will involve travelling to various sites all over the UK and that is a key part of the role. The role is a permanent position. No freelancers will be considered. About the requirements You are required to have a good standard of education preferably a BSc in Civil Engineering. As well as being well educated it’s vital you have good stability on your CV working for a tier one or tier two contractor within utilities. You will need to have excellent NEC contract knowledge and will need to engage with clients. The most important part of this role will be your work ethic and you will be welcomed into a family run business and offered significant room for progression. A UK driving license is mandatory for this role
