Client Pay: Direct Pay Mechanism
Pay rates: £28 - £30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform and interpret complex cross-sectional imaging procedures, including CT and MRI scans.
* Lead and supervise a team of radiographers, ensuring high standards of imaging and patient care.
* Provide expert advice on imaging techniques and protocols to clinical staff and patients.
* Manage departmental workflows and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and quality assurance procedures.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient interactions.
* Participate in on-call and out-of-hours services as required.
* Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in radiology.
Requirements:
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a radiographer.
* 2+ years of NHS experience mandatory
* Extensive experience in cross-sectional imaging, including CT and MRI.
* Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving departmental processes.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
Desirable:
* Postgraduate qualifications in advanced imaging or leadership.
* Experience in research or teaching within radiology.
