Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide individualised support and instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create and implement tailored educational plans to meet the specific needs of each student Assist students in developing academic, social, and life skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Understanding of different learning styles and strategies Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in SEN education Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience with assistive technology for SEN students Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students Collaborative work environment with teachers and support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
