About the role
In this role, you'll oversee premises compliance and ensure our offices and depots meet statutory and corporate standards. You'll deliver high-quality facilities management, handling both day-to-day and planned maintenance to keep the workplace safe and accessible.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring legal compliance
2. Managing landlord relationships
3. Overseeing utilities, waste, and energy consumption to minimize costs
4. Working with the Group ESG team on environmental reporting
5. Collaborating with procurement for supplier approvals and maintenance activities
6. Implementing and managing service contracts
7. Ensuring supplier due diligence
8. Overseeing contractors
9. Leading facilities management for new building projects
10. Managing site-based compliance, facilities coordinators, and receptionists
About you
You have a talent for building strong working relationships and collaborating effectively with others. Highly motivated and self-driven, you excel in managing your time efficiently. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills complement your customer service orientation. You thrive in team environments and are committed to contributing positively to team dynamics.
You are working towards or are already a member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management or a similar organization. You hold a foundation-level qualification in environmental management, such as IEMA. You have a thorough understanding of property management and its financial aspects, along with an in-depth knowledge of the relevant rules and regulations. You are proficient in MS Office and relevant databases and software, with a strong customer focus and an orientation toward the bottom line.
