* Work closely with BWAM leadership to define the online membership community vision, goals, and roadmap.
* Set up and optimise the online membership platform, ensuring it delivers an intuitive and seamless experience for members.
* Develop a scalable strategy to grow and sustain the community, incorporating feedback from early adopters to refine offerings.
1. Community Engagement & Member Experience
* Be the go-to contact for members, creating a warm and welcoming experience that drives participation.
* Facilitate meaningful connections among members, from senior leaders to emerging talent, through curated networking opportunities.
* Host and moderate virtual events, such as panels, workshops, and peer-led discussions, that align with members’ professional goals.
2. Content & Programming
Work with BWAM Founder to design and deliver impactful programming tailored to asset management professionals.
3. Growth & Retention
* Develop and execute strategies to grow the membership base, including outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
* Implement onboarding processes to help new members integrate and engage quickly.
* Monitor engagement metrics and design retention strategies to ensure members see value in staying connected.
4. Industry Knowledge & Advocacy
* Leverage your understanding of the asset management industry, including its jargon, trends, and challenges, to create relevant programming and resources.
* Stay attuned to the unique needs and aspirations of underrepresented professionals, ensuring all offerings are impactful and inclusive.
KEY SKILLS:
* Strategic Thinker: You can see the big picture while executing detailed plans to bring a vision to life.
* Community Builder: You thrive on building relationships and creating a sense of belonging for community members.
* Industry-Savvy: You understand the asset management world, including its challenges, opportunities, and professional dynamics.
* Highly Organized: You’re skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines without losing attention to detail.
* Empathetic & Inclusive: You have a strong commitment to fostering an environment where all professionals feel valued and supported.
* Tech-Savvy: Experience with membership platforms and familiarity with digital tools is a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Background working in a small team or startup environment, with the ability to adapt, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
* Experience in community management, professional development, or a related role.
* Background in the asset management industry or a solid understanding of its dynamics and professional needs.
* Proven ability to design and deliver impactful programming and events.
