We are now looking for a Finance Assistant with credit control and purchase ledger experience to support our client on a full-time and permanent basis, in their finance team, due to continued growth within the business.
Work hours for this position are typically 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, for 40 hours per week with a one-hour lunch.
Salary is £25k - £30k, dependent on experience
Your new roleAs a Finance Assistant, in this particular role, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
* To chase debt from clients
* You will post receipts and deal with expenses
* Processing purchase invoices and statement reconciliations
* To ensure both the purchase ledger and sales ledger runs smoothly
* As an experienced Credit Controller/Finance Assistant, you will also liaise with sites to resolve queries and gather information
* Carry out verbal and written communications with both suppliers and customers
* Support the wider finance team and Finance Managers with general admin and ad-hoc duties
