Job Advert: Part-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Chorley
Are you passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Chorley on a part-time basis.
About the Role: As an HLTA, you will provide high-level support to teachers and students, assisting with lesson delivery, planning, and classroom management. You will work closely with students across various abilities, offering both group and one-on-one support, and playing a key role in their academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted interventions and support to students with varying needs
* Assist the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
* Manage classroom behavior and ensure a productive, inclusive learning environment
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Monitor student progress and report on achievements and areas for development
* Work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive learning atmosphere
About You:
* A proven track record in a classroom setting (HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable
* Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
