Our "Platform Management Mainframe" division is responsible for the development and maintenance of IT processes on the mainframe with a focus on non-cash payment transactions. We work closely with various specialist departments of the Bundesbank.
Work of particular value: your assignment with us
* You support applications in the area of non-cash payment transactions
* You will also develop, implement and maintain software solutions, mainly in the IBM mainframe environment
* You will also be involved in the creation and further development of IT applications, which includes advising and supporting the specialist departments in their architectural design, the creation of technical specifications and acceptance tests
* You will contribute your expertise to the overarching collaboration with various IT departments and the specialist department to ensure system stability and functionality
* Finally, you will take on tasks as part of last level support
Special values: Your qualifications
* Bachelor's or equivalent degree in computer science or comparable degree program with a focus on information technology or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience
* Very good knowledge of common programming languages (e.g. Angular, Python, Java, Cobol)
* Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL; DB2) and ideally experience in the development and support of complex application processes
* Knowledge of markup languages (ideally XML) is desirable
* Basic banking knowledge in the area of non-cash payment transactions is an advantage
* Basic willingness and health suitability to work under special time requirements (regular assumption of plannable, remunerated on-call duties after appropriate training period)
* Analytical thinking and conceptual way of working
* Independent and at the same time team-oriented way of working
* Commitment and a high sense of responsibility
* Very good communication skills in German and good in English
