We have been retained by a key client of ours in the engineering sector to source and secure a Sales Manager to help to grow one of their CNC machining divisions. Our client is looking for a proactive and innovative hands-on Business Development professional to deliver on their strategy for growth. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for: Developing new engineering accounts across their CNC machining division. Identify opportunities for growth and prospecting across current and new market sectors including but limited to; automotive, truck and bus, defence, oil and gas, rail etc. Managing the sales cycle from enquiry to completion. Liaising with commercial, technical and project stakeholders. Experienced in technical solutions sales, you will have sold sub-contract machining or machines components into aerospace, automotive, rail or defence sectors, ideally. You will be experienced in project-based sales cycles from concept to completion. Ideally you will have an engineering qualification or will have been a sales engineer in the past or currently. You will be proactive and hungry but will also be realistic with customers and able to manage expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity with a growing SME manufacturer and will offer a salary of between £50,000 and £70,000 plus package
