Position: Primary School Classroom Support

Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: We have roles available starting as soon as possible and later in the academic year.
About the Role:
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will work alongside primary school teachers to help deliver high-quality learning experiences for children. Your role will involve supporting children with their academic work, assisting in managing classroom activities, and providing tailored support for children with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Work closely with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to help with learning tasks.
* Assist children with their social and emotional development.
* Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
* Provide support to children with additional learning needs or barriers to learning.
* Assist in monitoring children’s progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Help with administrative tasks as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A graduate in Education Studies or a related field.
* Strong understanding of primary education and the learning needs of children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for supporting children’s development and making a positive impact in the classroom.
* Able to work as part of a team and independently.
* Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
* Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
