We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medication administration, and supporting pharmacy operations. Responsibilities
1. Deliver outstanding patient care by addressing patient needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
2. Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
3. Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
4. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans and outcomes.
6. Participate in inventory management, including the ordering and restocking of pharmaceutical supplies.
7. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Dispenser or Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
2. Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration protocols.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
4. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
5. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy technology or related fields will be an advantage.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
