SIA Licenced Resort Safety Officer - Controller - Skegness
About The Role
As a Resort Safety Controller team member, you will deal with a wide range of challenges that require you to combine customer service skills with your security knowledge. You will ensure that our guests feel safe and secure throughout their stay at Butlin's by operating the Resort Safety control room, deploying SIA operatives around the Resort, responding to incidents and requests, and maintaining all levels of security across the Resort.
Key Responsibilities
1. Be the main point of contact for the resort.
2. Communicate effectively and resolve problems with a fair approach.
3. Engage directly with guests, using positive customer service skills.
4. Monitor radio communications and answer phones for Resort Safety (Security) matters.
5. Monitor and dispatch personnel for Fire Alarm activations.
6. Monitor CCTV systems.
7. Use a PC with various computer systems; proficiency is required.
8. Report irregularities and incidents, completing relevant reports.
Please note: This role requires availability to work nighttime and flexible hours.
About You
Previous experience in a security control role is desirable; however, it is essential to hold a level 2 CCTV/Public Space Surveillance qualification and a valid SIA Licence. A Door Supervisor Licence and DVLA Car Licence would be advantageous.
