Primary Purpose and Scope:
Are you a dynamic and experienced professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a talented Brand Manager to join our creative team in Hayes, West London.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the creation and execution of impactful Marketing and Product Information Packs that drive profitability and align with brand values. You will work closely with licensors and the TCC sales team to develop and implement effective global marketing campaigns and shape product and reward concepts to fit market opportunities and business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of the brand, including its key values and consumer connections, managing licensing relationships and developing a relevant product range within the appropriate price range. You’ll need to be aware of retailer requirements and consumer trends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Feasibility Assessments: Assess the viability of licensed properties and product/reward concepts, ensuring they align with brand values and commercial requirements.
* Cross-functional coordination: Plan, develop and market MIPs within the licensed portfolio, ensuring optimal coordination between various functions.
* Brand Ambassador: Promote brands and campaign solutions creatively and enthusiastically within the company.
* Budget Management: Monitor and control product development budgets, manage design approvals and confirm marketing plans with licensors.
* Implementation of Licence Rights: Lead the development of campaign product/reward artwork and marketing materials, ensuring compliance with licensor guidelines.
* Collaboration Meetings: Prepare and present information in collaboration meetings and participate in client presentations when required.
* Key Contact: Serve as the primary contact for licensors and internal teams regarding queries and complex client pitches.
Skills & Experience:
* Account Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing major brand or retail accounts (toys, entertainment, gaming, media) in a marketing agency environment or similar, with a proven track record of successful planning, pitching and delivering strategic solutions at the client level.
* Solid Project Management Skills: Experience managing complex cross-functional teams in marketing, FMCG or related product/brand management environments.
* Strategic Agility: Ability to anticipate market trends and drive project direction.
* Licensing Experience: Experience with major toy, entertainment, gaming or media licensors.
* Retail Loyalty Sector Experience: Knowledge of retail loyalty marketing campaigns and spending mechanisms.
* Premiums Manufacturing Experience: Understanding the costs and manufacturing processes in product/reward development.
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field. A graduate degree is desirable.
