Role Overview: The Site Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with excellent organizational and communication skills who thrives in a dynamic construction environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate daily site activities and personnel to ensure efficient progress. Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Supervise subcontractors, trades, and labour, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Monitor the quality of work and ensure it meets the required standards. Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and ensure smooth operations. Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site to minimize waste and ensure availability. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions. Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets, progress reports, and incident logs. Resolve on-site issues promptly and escalate as needed to the project manager. Requirements: Proven experience in a supervisory role within civil engineering or construction. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS/SSSTS certification. NVQ or equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
