We are seeking to recruit a customer service administrator to work within our busy Audiology Department in Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset.
This post is full time for 37.5 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
The main function of the Dorset Audiology Service is to provide NHS hearing aid services throughout Dorset. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills to join our friendly admin team.
Our administration team support our audiologists and we would welcome an enthusiastic person to join our expanding team. Our Audiology service is going through an exciting time as East and West Dorset Audiology integrate, to become one Dorset Audiology Service in 2024.
The function of the Audiology Service is to reduce disability due to deafness. We provide complex services for patients in balance, tinnitus, adults with learning difficulties, ENT and we have a full complement of paediatric audiology services.
As a customer services administrator, you will be well-motivated, flexible and a clear communicator.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
To work as part of a busy team to provide quality and efficient audiology reception service.
Tasks will include -
Reception duties.
Supporting patient appointments.
To assist and direct visitors as required.
To provide patients with hearing aid accessories.
Supporting admin and clinical team members.
