This Learning Support Assistant position will work closely with students with the intention of creating a positive attitude to learning in a safe environment. Mandatory Requirements: A valid right to work in the UK (Unfortunately, sponsorship is NOT OFFERED for this role) Previous experience in either the education or care sector Hold GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science above a grade 5 Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one About the Role: The role involves working with students who have had a difficult start in life and may have experienced degrees of trauma. They will need support in regulating emotions and understanding how their mind operates. Most students will have additional needs such as ASC and SLCNs.
