We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Manager within our Packaging segment based in the UK, that can show both new and existing customers the value of our products in the UK & Ireland region. You are part of our Sales Operations North Europe team, consisting of 8 people based across Sweden and the UK. The position will involve local and occasional international travel. Your future manager is based in the UK.
You will manage, maintain and develop volume and revenue for a defined set of appointed accounts and customer portfolios. Your task will also be to seek out new customer relationships and new business opportunities within the food and/or pharma packaging segment. More than half your time will be spent travelling and visiting customers within the UK and Ireland.
Your responsibilities are (but not limited to):
* Invoice forecasting for the assigned customer group.
* Defining and carrying out specific offers to each customer based on the Sales Plan.
* Maintaining and developing customer relationships of existing customers.
* Pursuing new business opportunities.
* Gathering and analysing market and competitor information.
* Identifying, proposing and implementing local marketing activities.
* Coordinating all activities between the customer and the company, including visits to our mills.
* Representing Holmen Board and Paper at exhibitions and fairs.
To succeed in this role
Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales. Experience in the food and/or pharma packaging segment would be an advantage. You are outgoing and seek new opportunities for expanding the business. You are self-motivated, good at building relationships with existing and future customers, and are able to close a deal.
Furthermore you:
* Have proven experience in board packaging sales and board/folding carton converting sales.
* Are persistent and have a strong drive to track down and close deals.
* Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
* Have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field or the equivalent in relevant work experience.
* Are proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
* Are in possession of a valid driver’s license and passport.
