A great opportunity to join a forward-thinking tech/software company located in central London. Working on a hybrid basis, the role is to provide business development within a small collaborative team, in an office of approximately 170 people. Globally recognized, this is an important role, integral to the business's relationships and growth.
The Role:
1. Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
2. Reach out to potential clients via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce the company and its services/solutions.
3. Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and timeline.
4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients, addressing their questions and concerns effectively.
5. Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings, demonstrations, and presentations with qualified leads.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Ideally have an English-based degree or equivalent experience.
2. Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
3. Engaging, energetic, and coachable communicator with a keen interest in sales and/or marketing.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Agile learners – ability to learn something new.
6. Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer’s workday.
7. Strong customer service and organizational skills.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate, persuade, and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
9. A team player able to work collaboratively in a complex matrix environment.
10. Results-focused and self-motivating.
11. Amenable to work onsite for the first 3 months and on the days the business requires you to do so.
Salary: 30k + annual commission of up to 25%
