G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Workspace Manager on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham. We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to manage, design, cost, task and co-ordinate authorised changes to the Benhall Accommodation, inline with the approved contract variation. As well to deliver an efficient and cost effective service providing excellent customer service whilst being able to demonstrate value for money for the client. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the management of: Workplace Change Requests to include Workspace moves, relocations, workspace changes and furniture supply and Maintenance Control of the Accommodation Change Management services in order to meet Client and operational needs, liaising with the Service Owner, customer, Hub Lead, suppliers and subcontractors. To provide technical surveys, advice and costings, through regular meetings with the Client and other stakeholders. To ensure all workplace installations/reconfiguration works are supported by a full business case which adhere to the Estates Accommodation Policy. To engage with all Key Authority stakeholders as appropriate to ensure effective service delivery. Manage and development of resources (Workspace coordinators and Operatives) To manage minor Variations as required To manage the procurement and provision of furniture, including bar coding, asset tracking and warranty Database. Chair weekly, Monthly and Ad Hoc meetings with Client Continually research and advise on improvements to workspace furniture & technology Key Health and Safety accountabilities, to work safely and efficiently and with due regard for the health and safety of the tea and the health and safety and welfare of others, stakeholders and building users. The Ideal Candidate: Essential Experience in facilities management, with demonstrable experience of planning and executing workspace moves and/or managing projects. Proven ability to effectively manage in-house teams, external suppliers, and subcontractors IT literate Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Full, clean driving licence Desireable Understanding of bespoke CAFM systems such as Maximo Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH Management or Supervisory qualification (ILM/NVQ) You will be valued and supported, and provided with first class training and competitive benefits.
