The Company:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior Sales Account Manager to join a reputable and established supplier of fashion to high street retailers.
The Role:
Update and manage critical paths.
Ensuring purchase orders are correct before sending to factory
Follow order status with factories / far-east offices
Provide administrative support to the team
Communicate with customers and Far East teams via email and telephone
Chase samples ensuring they meet deadline requirements.
Steam and package samples for delivery to customers
Preparation of showroom for customer meetings, hanging, collecting samples.
Manage the Garment Technical function in line with critical path requirements
Assess technical issues, which could delay the critical path
Create risk assesment’s for all styles on order and provide a list of test requirements based on the product and buyer manuals
Ensure the following fittings are carried out with the in line with the customer requirements:
Maintain effective communication with overseas technologists in all technical and quality requirements for each style as required by the customer
Travel may be required within the UK and overseas
Maintain good working relationships, an open dialogue and effective communication, both within the team and at all levels with other teams/departments within the Company.
Skills Required:
Excellent MS Office skills especially Word and Excel, with some PowerPoint an advantage
