This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) students and requires a passion for science and education. The position is available from 17th March until the end of the school year, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, but a minimum commitment of 3 days per week is required. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and enthusiasm for science. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the science curriculum and student learning experiences. Utilise various teaching resources and technologies to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the school community. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching science at KS3 level. Strong understanding of the science curriculum and teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students. Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week). Right to work in the UK.
