Even when working from home, you may be required to respond to emergency repairs at short notice, so we recommend you living within 10-15 miles of Poulton. Full UK driving licence is essential. Proposed Interview Date: W/C The role As a Repairs Supervisor (damp and mould) at M&Y you will supervise operatives completing all repairs and improvement works safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. You must communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers. You’ll also perform other duties as appropriate to the job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by their manager. The right fit Full UK driving licence is essential. Supervisory experience in Building Maintenance in a social housing environment would be advantageous. You MUST have previous experience in at least two of the following trades (one of which must be joinery): Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Tiling, Groundworks, Roofing, Glazing. Ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience in our housing management IT systems is desirable (Orchard, DRS, AccuServ, Propeller). Ability to plan and prioritise workload, whilst working to deadlines and agreed targets. Full awareness of relevant H&S requirements and considerations. Experience of working with Housing Associations and managing repairs is desirable.
