Churchill Estates Management is recruiting an exceptional Lodge Manager for our retirement development. We seek someone passionate about working with people, with a background in administration and customer service. This varied role involves coordinating development activities and making a positive difference in the lives of our Home Owners, providing a hassle-free retirement living experience.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage property maintenance and deliver first-class service to Owners. As the on-site trusted, 'go-to' person and a 'friendly neighbour,' you will liaise with customers and suppliers, manage contractors, schedule maintenance, perform health and safety checks, organise activities and events, and more.
This role is crucial for the success of the Lodge and the enjoyment of Owners, offering significant rewards.
About you
This position is suited to individuals with experience in retirement living, social housing, hospitality, uniformed services, charity, or health & social care sectors. A successful Lodge Manager will enjoy working 'front of house,' providing excellent customer service and demonstrating strong administrative skills.
Your passion for customer service is essential. You should have an outgoing, friendly personality, with the ability to act with sensitivity and diplomacy, manage safety and security, and remain calm under pressure. While engaging regularly with residents, you should also be comfortable working independently, using your initiative.
To organise events and maintain site administration effectively, you must be computer literate, experienced with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
