Role: Access Administrator
Salary/Rate: GBP 20 per hr (inside IR35)
Location: on site in Dumfries and Galloway
Contract Duration: 6 months, 4 days per week
We are currently looking for an Access Administrator for our government client. This Access Administrator role is for 4:days per week, based on site in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
The contract for the Access Administrator position is for 6:months, operating inside IR35.
The client will cover the cost of site:specific H+S training which needs to have been completed before you are granted site access.
Security Clearance: eligible for Security Check (SC Level Security Clearance / SC Clearance)
This role is inside IR35 : Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.
Essential skills/experience required:
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and orally with attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and completing workload.
* Proficient in the use of Windows, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Ability to communicate with people at all levels of seniority within an organisation.
* Working knowledge of databases / IT office systems.
* Educated to NQF level 3/NVQ Level 3, or equivalent standard or equivalent demonstrable experience in relevant aspect to the post.
The role:
* Deal with customer/client queries and resolving them within levels of experience and competence.
* Draft correspondence to support day to day progression of tasks/deliverables.
* Provide high level administrative support within the assigned function including, but not limited to, pre:employment screening such as checking and submitting paperwork associated with security vetting applications, processing of new and renewal of site pass applications, ensuring necessary enablers for entry to site are in place.
* Ensure that functional databases and access control systems are accurately updated in a timely manner.
* Develop and maintain effective filing and retrieval systems.
* Develop and maintain direct working relationships with industry partners in own area of delivery
* Prepare agendas, minutes and action plans as required.
* Undertake other administrative tasks assigned as and when required, including but not limited to, processing of expenses, arranging meetings, organising travel, accommodation, refreshments etc.
* The post holder may be required to be a member of, and participate in, the Site Emergency Scheme subject to any fitness standards required.
* Comply with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments. Support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety Environment and Quality at Site/Function.
