Job Title: Service Administrator
Location: Kettering
Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours
Pay: £23,000 - £25,000
My client is a well-established company trading for over 40 years in the weighing machine industry for selling, servicing, repairing and calibrating are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Service Coordinator.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Customer Service:
o Maintaining records of service visits and calibrations
o Providing quotations for Sales & Service customers
2. Efficient Order Processing:
o Process sales and service quotations, orders, pro formas, and invoices using Sage 50 software.
o Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the creation of customer sales quotations
o Manage spare parts stock and orders to support smooth service operations
3. Communication and Coordination:
o Schedule Service visits, confirming dates with customers for a seamless experience
o Manage inbound and outbound customer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
o Collaborate with the external sales force, handling enquiries and sales leads effectively
4. Digital Presence Management:
o Monitor and respond to sales and service-related emails promptly
o Engage with customers through LiveChats on our website, providing real-time assistance
5. Logistics and Inventory Control:
o Organise shipments with carriers to ensure timely deliveries
o Place orders with suppliers and manage stock and back orders for efficient order fulfilment
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
We're looking for a Service Administrator with the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience of working in a similar role involving service administration, ideally in a technical environment;
* Strong IT proficiency, with good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel;
* Experience with Sage 50 or equivalent is essential
* Experience of ACT! CRM system or similar is an advantage
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbally and in writing;
* Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
The successful candidate should ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a Sales Administration / Service Co-ordination role.
