UK&I Senior Finance Manager
The UKI Senior Finance Manager will have overall responsibility for all aspects of Purchase Ledger, Cash Management, Financial Accounting, Payroll and other key financial processes.
The role provides leadership in delivering high quality, effective and efficient financial services, while also ensuring financial compliance and robust financial control.
Please note, this role is based in our Uxbridge office. We work on a hybrid basis, around 3 days in the office.
What you’ll be doing:
* Provide leadership, support and direction for the UK&I finance teams (purchase ledger, cash management, financial accounting, and payroll teams).
* Develop skills and capabilities within the UK&I finance teams. Provide training and guidance to effectively manage their responsibilities in a timely.
* Ownership of the general ledger and internal controls for the UK&I purchase ledger, cash management, financial accounting and payroll teams
* Accountable for appropriate completion of balance sheet checks and reviews for the UK&I purchase ledger, cash management, financial accounting, general ledger and payroll areas.
* Focus on effective and efficient management of the Group’s funds and facilities, cash forecasting and working capital management
* Working closely with the Group Director of Financial Control to implement the overall UK&I Finance department vision, strategy and objectives. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the general ledger process area and across the finance team.
What you’ll need:
* Qualification ACCA, ACA or similar
* A few PQE years of relevant industry experience
* Solid technical accounting experience
* Experience leading a large team
* Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems
* Strong knowledge of, and practical experience with internal controls
* Able to demonstrate process improvement and change implementation
