Due to the ongoing transformation of Hand Picked Hotels and our re structure within our Finance team, we are currently recruiting for a Regional Finance Business Partner to cover our hotels in the South. This is a key role and will focus on providing constructive challenge to improve the hotels performance and financial planning processes.
This role of Regional Finance Business Partner can be based in Surrey or Kent and will cover hotels within a specific geographic area.
About the role:
* The Regional Finance Business Partner has responsibility for the financial processes supporting the control and reporting of hotel financial performance for a cluster of hotels from within Hand Pickeds UK portfolio and partnering with the business to drive financial performance.
* You will be responsible for Business Partnering, using the management accounts and regular reporting prepared by the other functions to provide financial insight and challenge.
* Act as a sounding board and subject matter expert for the Regional Director of Operations and General Managers on financial and commercial questions and work with them to deliver their financial objectives.
* As Regional Finance Business Partner a key part of role will involve instilling and maintaining a sound control environment across your hotels within your region.
* You will work closely with operational and commercial teams as a partner in driving the performance of the business.
* Work closely with the Regional Director of Operations and General Managers in reviewing the period management accounts, understanding variances and agreeing actions plans where needed.
* Excellent communicator at all levels, able to distil information and communicate concisely with different audiences
About you:
* To be considered for this role, you will need to have current experience as a Finance Business Partner within the hospitality industry.
* It is essential you are qualified accountant with either (ACA/ACCA,CIMA)
* Have advanced user knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Sage, Sage Intacct and Opera.
* Highly analytical and with strong numerical skills.
* Excellent communicator at all levels, able to distil information and communicate concisely with different audiences
* Be able to demonstrate a transformation mind-set and the ability to get things done in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
* Able to challenge and respectfully hold their ground respectfully.
* Be able to present written information to a high professional standard.
* Previous work experience in travel and hospitality industry would be an advantage, as would knowledge of Sage Intacct and Opera and other hospitality software.
