Job Purpose
To procure construction-related contracts for Sutton Housing Partnership, ensuring compliance with legislation, meeting operational needs, and delivering value for money.
Key Responsibilities
* Document all procurement activities and maintain the contracts register.
* Assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining the contracts register; generate reports for managers and partners.
* Highlight contracts due for renewal or retendering and advise managers accordingly.
* Support contract renewal and renegotiation, aligning with Sutton Housing Partnership’s Procurement Strategy.
* Prepare briefs and specifications for tenders, including OJEU tenders, ensuring compliance with procedures and legislation.
* Maintain accurate records and audit trails of tender processes.
* Assist in major procurement activities across the organization, including executive-level support.
* Coordinate with departments to maximize procurement efficiency and compliance.
* Conduct financial and viability checks on suppliers and contractors.
