My client is a Distributor of 10 European food processing machinery brands solely to the UK. Based in the north of the UK my client now operates worldwide supply machines to Fish, Meat & poultry factories on primary, secondary and further processing. Machines such as filleting, dicing, slicing, grinders, formers and packaging machines.
The role
Installation, breakdown, Repair of food processing machines & cutting tools
Working on slicers, skinners, debones, portioning machines
Able to read electrical drawings
Able to wire & rewire
Changing of bearing, belts & chains
Experience of working on shafts
Working on mechanical issues surrounding pulleys
Ability to run Ethernet cables
Run diagnostics through HMI’s – inputs/outputs
Good understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics
Stay way from home 2 nights per week
Ability to Cover the Uk
Visiting sites such as fisheries, meat process, chicken houses ect
Qualifications & experience
Exp of FMCG/Food/Production machines
No formal qualification need
Ability to travel and understand the life of a service technician
