This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) ACA/ACCA auditor with strong practice experience who’s ready to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and help develop a growing team.
You’ll be managing a wide range of client engagements from planning through to final sign-off, playing a key role in the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts work across a diverse client base.
Role Responsibilities
* Leading on-site audit fieldwork and managing end-to-end audit processes
* Liaising directly with client staff and building trusted relationships
* Managing reporting deadlines, budgets, and work in progress (WIP)
* Prioritising tasks to handle high-risk and time-sensitive areas effectively
* Attending and contributing to client planning and close meetings
* Supporting junior team members with technical queries and development
* Reviewing financial statements and producing management letters
* Playing an active role in internal and external networking and knowledge sharing

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
* Proven audit experience in a UK accountancy practice
* Solid knowledge of audit systems, accounting software, and ideally CCH
* Confident communicator with great attention to detail
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills
* A collaborative mindset and desire to help others grow
