We are looking for a Hire Desk controller to work alongside our established Plant & Transport team based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
What you will need:
Ideally, you will have previous experience working as a Hire Controller within a Plant & Transport department, generating hire agreements, contracts, and invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms of hire. Be competent in the use of Word & Excel packages.
* Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Communicate delivery/collection schedules and instructions to relevant parties and provide updates on any changes or delays.
* Maintain accurate records of hire contracts, equipment availability, delivery schedules, and customer communications using internal databases or software systems.
* Prepare reports on hire activity, revenue, and inventory levels for management review and decision-making purposes.
