The Role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collaborative environment, playing a key role in developing and executing broadcast PR campaigns. Responsibilities include working closely with producers, presenters, and media outlets to maximize client coverage and uncover new opportunities in the broadcast landscape. As part of a skilled team, you'll also provide media training to clients, identify strategic broadcast angles, and build strong industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute broadcast PR strategies to elevate client visibility.
* Cultivate relationships with broadcasters, producers, and presenters, building opportunities for client coverage.
* Deliver tailored media training to clients, aligning their expertise with media opportunities.
* Manage client accounts with a proactive, client-first approach, ensuring high standards of service.
* Utilize planning tools to identify and maximize timely, relevant PR opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Passion for PR, news, and broadcast media, with strong knowledge of current events.
* Excellent writing skills and experience in crafting engaging PR stories.
* Proven client management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Prior experience in broadcast PR is beneficial, but not essential; a willingness to learn and innovate is highly valued.
