Now, we’re looking for a General Manager, UK & Ireland to lead our regional team and drive ambitious growth.
In this high-impact role, you’ll spearhead strategic plans, grow sales through multi-distribution and brand strategies, and expand external partnerships while enhancing direct sales. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, deliver strong performance against company targets, and champion exceptional product delivery. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, EMEA and working closely with senior leaders globally, you’ll help shape the future of our business in the UK and Ireland.
To succeed, you’ll need sharp commercial acumen, a creative approach to growth and innovation, and the ability to build a high-performing team aligned with Intrepid’s purpose and values. You’ll drive exceptional results by fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring our product offering remains market-leading and reflective of our responsible travel ethos.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our vibrant Brixton, London office with hybrid working.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
1. Senior management experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
2. A track record of expanding sales and distribution across multiple markets.
3. Strong commercial acumen and sound business management expertise, with financial and strategic oversight.
4. Proven leadership, communication, and people management skills at all levels.
5. Experience within the travel industry or broad personal travel background.
6. Commercial creativity and the ability to identify and implement new growth opportunities.
7. Effective resource and change management skills to maximize productivity and profitability.
8. Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing abilities.
