An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Works Co-ordinator to join our Field Operations Team in South Yorkshire.

The person appointed to this position will be an integral part of the SY&NL team and be principally responsible for the delivery of several work activities within the Region.

Along with a competitive salary between £36,929 - £47,541 (Tech LB, pp 7- 12)

Key Responsibilities:
• The successful candidate will initially be involved with the co-ordination of repairs and restoration activities, however there is also the potential for work in other workstreams as required.
• Planning and delivery of a wide range of projects / activities across multiple work streams to time, cost and quality.
• Effective site management of resources, including direct labour and contractors.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Deliver advice to customers on safe working practices, including works in proximity to cables & overhead lines
• Provide accurate and timely reports on progress and status of regional projects in development and delivery
• Formally close-out and review delivered projects against business objectives and project success criteria
• Progress own operational authorisations and participate on the standby rota once minimum criteria is met
• Provide coaching and mentoring to develop trainees throughout the business

Qualifications and Attributes
. Essential Qualifications and Experience
• Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Or working towards achieving this)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of the distribution network
• Willing to work towards full LV authorisations including fault management
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
• HNC Electrical Engineering
• Electrical Trade / Engineering Background
• Advanced Knowledge of LV, HV and EHV networks.
• Knowledge in IT systems such as CRM, CRM GO, PMIT, QPID, ISMART
