About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our South West division based out of Stoke Gifford office.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring land and planning, designing, constructing, and selling dwellings in accordance with our operating policies and controls.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist and cooperate with the Land Department in investigating and acquiring development sites.
* Be responsible for detailed technical investigation, design, optimisation, and liaison with statutory authorities to ensure timely contract letting and site development.
* Prepare detailed constructional drawings and negotiate technical and statutory approvals to achieve optimal timing programmes.
* Identify and resolve technical design and constructional problems.
* Supervise and administer the Company's Technical function.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Strong technical knowledge base from a technical design background, preferably in architectural or civil engineering.
* Educated to HNC/HND level in a construction-related field.
* Knowledge of the housebuilding industry, preferably gained with a high-volume housebuilder.
* Experience in concrete, steel, and traditional masonry build.
* Exposure to mixed-use/commercial schemes.
