We are searching for a uniquely qualified professional to join our Cayman-based client’s Corporate Services team in Grand Cayman. This will be an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a well-established firm that provides a full range of company administration, trust management, governance and regulatory services.
This Management hire will assume broad responsibilities that span Corporate Secretarial, Governance and Operational duties. They will lead a team of Corporate Administrators and oversee the management of a portfolio of Cayman Islands regulated entities while building and managing relationships with clients and other stakeholders of funds. They will draft/review precedents and template documents, and provide thought leadership on recent developments, industry trends and innovation. They will work closely with the wider Corporate and Governance Services team to process client instructions, identify key knowledge needs and assist in developing tailored resources. Additionally, they will develop, maintain and update the corporate knowledge database, train team members and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal usage of internal tools.
We are looking as much as possible of the following in an ideal candidate:
* At least 10 years of experience in a Corporate Secretary function, preferably within a large financial services or law firm environment.
* Relevant professional qualification from The Chartered Governance Institute.
* Solid drafting background combined with the ability to interpret and critically assess client instructions while processing in line with service agreements.
* Experience leading and training a team of Corporate Administrators in their day-to-day administration of corporate and registered office clients.
* Demonstrated experience managing process changes to streamline productivity.
* Strong eye for detail, highly organised and able to structure robust processes.
* Highly client focused and committed to consistently exceeding client expectations.
* Experience/knowledge of the iManage suite, Microsoft SharePoint and Office applications an advantage.
This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to be based on-site in Grand Cayman. Due to the international move involved, preferred candidates will be able to relocate relatively easily and be motivated to experience the superb living and working environment that Cayman has to offer.
